Removal of modern low stone wall return from rear elevation. Removal of cement-based ribbon pointing from all exterior elevations of the building and re-pointing in lime. Repair of exterior window frames, lintels and front elevation door. Removal of rear elevation concrete and cement tile window sills and replacement in red clay tile. Replacement of ridge on thatched roof. Fitting of dummy rafters and barge boards to east facing gable end. Repair and re-pointing of chimney stacks (no. 3). Removal of internal first floor stud partition walls, hardboard doors, pipe boxing and skirting. Construction of new soundproofed stud partition walls. Repairs to lath and plaster walls and ceilings of first floor bedrooms. Opening up of master bedroom fireplace. Cleaning, preparation and oiling of exposed timbers of first floor. Cleaning, fine sanding and finishing of first floor elm floorboards. Reinstatement of blocked in stairwell window. Insertion of loft hatches (no. 2). Removal of cement-based plasters, plasterboard and match boarding from walls and ceiling of kitchen. Removal of concrete floor from kitchen. Repair and re-roofing of stone outhouse. Removal of concrete block walls, lean-to and barns attached to brick workshop building. Repair of brick workshop roof, west facing gable end.
