4 Harrup Close Stoke Hammond Buckinghamshire MK17 9FT

We would like to remove a Lombardy Poplar tree to be removed and the stump to be ground out. The tree is located in our rear garden. Grass would be grown in the area where the tree was and we would plant a smaller fruit tree (apple, pear or plum) There are no other trees in our garden. The tree is unhealthy and falling branches present a dangerous environment for people within the garden. The branches are extremely dry and therefore brittle, which leads to a lot of debris falling from the tree. This is not only in strong winds but also in mild weather. The tree has ivy growing up it which adds additional weight to the frail branches. We have included photographs showing the branches that have fallen off within the last 10 months. We have children who like to play in the garden but have not been able to due to the potential hazards from the free. The tree is approximately 50 to 60ft (15.3m to 18m) tall so falling debris could cause serious damage and at a wide radius. Our house and garage are approximately 12 meters from the tree so should it fall then it would hit our house and would cause significant damage. We will employ a qualified and insured contractor to carry out the works. They will provide safety management and waste management services and will be carried out in the form of a M.E.W.P and Stump Grinder.
