Raising up two trees to allow in more light by removing a section of lateral branches and any hazardous wood. Tree 1. the Pine tree. From ground level to the first lateral branch is approximately 4 metres. There you have the first lateral branch which is across the top of the garden shed which is visible in the picture. This is the first of the four branches to be removed up to the level of the first union which is approximately another 3.5m-4m higher. Above the union there is some dead wood to remove but nothing else will be touched. Tree 2. The Spruce tree. The first lateral branch to be removed sits higher than the one on the Pine tree. So its probably around 4.5m from ground level. I think from memory there is approximately 6 lateral branches in total to be removed from this tree which when completed would then raise the clearance up another 3.5 to 4 metres.
