T13 Beech - Tip reduce branches overhanging stables and work/utility area by 4m to previously reduced points up to a height of 12m. Remove hung up and broken boughs. To prevent further damage to property from breaking branches T16 Ash - Pollard south facing stem to 6m. `pollard north facing stem to 10m as longitudinal crack running down from main fork to the ground. Hollow trunk at base .Likely to fail. B3400 runs beside South side of crown. T18 Horse chestnut - reduce height of Horse chestnut by c 8m leaving tree with crown height of 24m. Remove broken and hang up branches due to lose of adjoining tree on Storm Eunice this leaning speciman is left with no protection from the prevailing winds. Extensive decay pockets through out trunk. This reduction will reduce likely of future failure by reducing the wind loading on its crown. Please note that several trees of this age have been lost over the course of recent years due to their age and storms. Therefore the proposed reductions are designed to maintain the 200+ year old trees on the estate whilst a programme of succession planting is undertaken over the coming years.
