Notice of intent to carry out works to tree protected by Tree Preservation Order 10/10 - The work proposed (subject to planning approval) is to reduce the spread and height back to previous pruning/lopping points indicated by Diagram 2 at the same time remove deadwood and generally return tree to a balanced overall shape. All work to be carried out by specialist professional tree surgeons.The tree is a single mature oak (TPO reference not known to applicant) located to front of property. Trunk diameter is approximately 80cms. Branch spread covers significant area of front garden area including vehicle driveway and garage as indicated by Diagram 1. Natural light is considerably shaded over garden area and the front facing living rooms of property. Over the past few years a significant amount of decayed wood branches has fallen continuously to the front lawn and driveway areas risking potential damage to vehicle standing and injury to persons.
