Notice of intent to carry out works to a tree in a Conservation Area - Holly tree is approx 30ft and would like to reduce to 6ft and reduce all over by 6ft. There is an overgrown holly bush on the farside of our fenced garden boundary. The tree is so overgrown that it is very pushing against/breaking the fence structure it is growing against and has grown out of control in height blocking light. We have been in touch with a tree surgeon who agrees it needs to be cut back significantly into control.
