Notice of intent to carry out works to trees protected by Tree Preservation Order - Reference: 3/76 T1 - Cedar of Lebanon - prune to provide approximately 2m clearance from the pool house of no.159 High Street, Kelvedon T2 - Yew - shorten the lateral branches growing to the northeast by approximately 2m in order to provide/improve the view of the adjacent lime tree. T9 - Sycamore - Undertake an overall crown reduction shortening branches in length by approximately 2-3m. Replace the current cable brace with another 4t non-invasive 4-way brace off a central ring. The current bracing was installed around 2008 due to the low weak fork, and the manufacturers recommendations state they should be replaced every 8 years. The British Standard Tree Work - Recommendations 3998:2010 also advise that the installation of a bracing system is accompanied by pruning to reduce the loading on weak structures in the tree.
