(T28 and T29) Silver Birch - Reduce height by 4 metres and cut back branches to reduce boundary overhang to neighbouring property(TPO19/2006). The trees provide amenity value but over time have become excessively dominant in relation to the neighbouring property which they overhang. The proposed reduction will not damage local amenity. The trees were crown reduced by 30% in 2008 - TPO/BRW/37/2008 and this application will partially replicate the reduction made in 2008. At a site visit in October 2020 Steve Plumb indicated that this work would be acceptable and agreed to ask the arboriculturalist for Hallmark Care Homes to progress it. An application from him has been expected for some months but has not materialised.
