Maple tree on public footpath adjacent to our property which is overhanging our back garden. It blocks light all day, and sheds blossom in Summer and massive amounts of leaves in Autumn. We do not want to remove the tree or damage it in any way, but would very much like permission to lop the overhanging branches.
