Ipsley Alders Nature Reserve Alders Drive Redditch B98 0PS

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust manages Ipsley Alders reserve under the governments Countryside Stewardship Scheme. When this agreement was made in 2018, it was agreed by the Forestry Commission and Natural England that tree removal works were required on site in order to reduce scrub encroachment on the fenland habitat. The agreement stipulates that a total of 80 trees are to be removed from the site. the trees are all alder and are to be removed in clusters of 10 and 20 at the locations specified in the attached map. In addition, the agreement stipulates that pollarding will take place on two willow trees at the location identified on the map.
