Amendments to planning permission dated 14 August 2020 (RN: 18/10588/FULL) for: 'Demolition of existing building and redevelopment to provide a new building comprising basement, ground and first to eighth floors. Use of part basement and ground floors for dual/alternative retail (Class A1) or restaurant (Class A3) purposes, use of the remainder of the property as up to 37 flats (Class C3), ancillary residential amenity, cycle parking; provision of photovoltaic cells, a green roof and associated plant'. NAMELY, to reword conditions 37 and 38 to allow limited advance demolition works, as follows: C37 "{\b Pre Commencement Condition}. You must not start any demolition work on site, excluding the areas of demolition shown on drawings GPS-E8A-XX-A/04-05 Rev T1; GPS-E8A-XX-A/05-01 Rev T2, 05-02 Rev T2, 05-03 Rev T2, 05-04 Rev T2 and 05-05 Rev T2 hereby approved, until we have approved either: (a) a construction contract with the builder to complete the redevelopment work for which we have given planning permission on the same date as this consent, or (b) an alternative means of ensuring we are satisfied that demolition on the site will only occur immediately prior to development of the new building. You must only carry out the demolition and development according to the approved arrangements" C38 "You must not carry out demolition, excluding the areas of demolition shown on drawings GPS-E8A-XX-A/04-05 Rev T1; GPS-E8A-XX-A/05-01 Rev T2, 05-02 Rev T2, 05-03 Rev T2, 05-04 Rev T2 and 05-05 Rev T2 hereby approved, unless it is part of the complete development of the site. You must carry out the demolition and development without interruption and according to the drawings we have approved".
