Variation of Condition 1 of listed building consent dated 22nd June 2021 (RN 21/00510/LBC) for, 'Erection of rear extensions at second, third and fourth floor levels to incorporate a new lift; demolition and replacement of rear courtyard floor slab, replacement of the existing mansard roof and raising of chimney stacks; demolition and rebuild of two chimney stacks on the mews; replacement of windows; installation of air conditioning units at roof level and under pavement basement vaults; Internal alterations including; installations of Fan Coil Units and services throughout, replacement of chimneypieces; replacement floor finishes, insertion of partitions and redecoration throughout'; NAMELY, to remove existing MDF (non-original) fire surround in the service kitchen and replace with a stone fire surround at basement; Remove existing fire surround in the entrance hall and replace with an antique Georgian timber fire surround; Replace the existing non-original timber balustrade at ground floor with a period detailing balustrade; and Replace the non-original plasterboard ceiling in the glazed link with a plasterboard ceiling and replace the high level cornice with a period profile at ground floor; Replace the existing fire surround in the bedroom/ study with an 18th Century marble chimneypiece; Replace the existing fire surround in the master bathroom with a Regency chimneypiece; and Remove the timber surround and step to the phantom door between the stone staircase and lift lobby at second floor; Existing bedroom 2 fireplace to be carefully removed and stored on site; and Relocate the existing fireplace and grate from the master bedroom to bedroom 2 at third floor; Existing entrance hall fire surround to be relocated to bedroom 4 at fourth floor; and Installation of a new period style entrance lantern on the railings to the front of the building; and security cameras.
