Our client would like to apply to prune an early mature Holm Oak, labeled as T1 on the accompanying Sketch Plan, Ref CCL 10459. We would like to apply to undertake the following works: - Reduce the overall height of the tree from 14m down to 12m. - Reduce the north North canopy from 6.5m down to 5m. - Reduce the East canopy from 6m down to 4.5m - No pruning proposed to the south canopy. - Reduce the West canopy from 5m down to 3.5m. TPO 370 The reason for undertaking such works is that the tree has a large growth potential and is planted too close to the house. Hence, ongoing maintenance of the tree is required to maintain an adequate clearance distance. The property has also recently suffered from vegetation-related subsidence so appropriate management is required to reduce water uptake and future subsidence risks.
