A further renovating prune will be carried out about 12-18 months after initial works, to complete canopy thinning and improvement in appearance & health. The aggregate canopy reduction across the initial and renovating prune will not exceed a third. T2 Pear - Carry out initial prune of up to 25% of canopy to improve appearance & health. Tree is likely to require minimal thinning after removal of elder (see tree survey photographs document) but reduction of asymmetric over-extended branch towards the shed (falls within the 25%). A further renovating prune will be carried out about 12-18 months after initial works, to complete canopy thinning and improvement in appearance & health.
