Reydon Grange Mardle Road Wangford Suffolk NR34 8AU

Listed Building Consent - This proposal is to create a new doorway between the entrance hall and the study (Fig: 1, Photo 1). At the moment, the study is being used as a utility room. The existing door from the sitting room to the study (Fig: 1, Photo 2) will be retained, and kept shut. The study will be used by the owners, and also as a rest room and office by people working in the garden. The new doorway will give direct access to the study from the entrance hall without having to go through the sitting room, which involves moving furniture and is very inconvenient. In addition, the access from the study across the hall to the toilet and washing facilities in the shower room (Fig: 1) will be much easier. The study will be re-decorated (remove wall paper, fill in any cracks/holes in the plaster and paint with emulsion) and new floor boards laid on top of the existing concrete floor. I do not think we need listed buildings consent for this work, but it can be made part of this application if you think it should be.
