Tree 1 - Oak - Reduce lateral growth East (over neighbouring property) by 2-3m to secondary growth. Leaving retained branch lengths of 4-6m and tapering the reductions into the upper crown. Works are to improve light to the neighbouring property and reduce debris in the garden. Tree 2 - Beech (Ivy-covered, adjacent to Tree 1) - Fell The tree is suppressed by Tree 1 with no potential to fully develop. Its removal will benefit Tree 1. Tree 3 - Sweet Chestnut (rear boundary, adjacent to Holly and Pine) - Fell The tree is leaning into the adjacent Holly and Scots Pine in a congested area of the garden, its removal will create more space for the better specimens surrounding it. Tree 4 - Holly group (rear left corner) - Reduce in height to 3 metres to form hedge Works are to improve light to the neighbouring garden and maintain as a hedge. Tree 6 - Sycamore - Remove to stem lowest 4 small diameter limbs over the lawn (West) Tree 7 - Sweet Chestnut - Reduce lateral growth West (towards house) by 1-2 metres to secondary growth. Leaving retained branch lengths of 3-5 metres. Tree 8 - Beech - Reduce lateral growth West (towards house) by 1-2 metres to secondary growth. Leaving retained branch lengths of 3-5 metres. Tree 9 - Beech - Reduce lateral growth West (towards house) by 1-2 metres to secondary growth. Leaving retained branch lengths of 4-6 metres. G1 - Hollies (between T6 and T9) - Reduce in height to 4 metres. Works to Trees 6-9 and G1 are to improve light to the garden and house and attempt to contain the tree line at close to its current size. An Acer Rubrum would be planted as a replacement tree on the rear boundary in the space to the North of Tree 1
