Listed Building Application for works to Western Dock, including: demolition of single storey vehicle hire building facing Neville Street and erection of replacement security gates and bollards; demolition of the existing wash-plant and storage area, including roof and formation of open concourse with associated lighting and surface treatments; partial demolition of 2 storey brick and stone building attached to the boundary wall and erection of kiosk extension; insertion of 2.5m high gates , security screen, re-routing of fire escape stairs and associated alterations, repairs and stone cleaning to the west elevation of main station building; erection of storage enclosure screen east of 1 Neville Street; reconfiguration and alterations to existing compactor compound; erection of storage enclosure screen west of Platform 14 with lift ; and construction of ramped access and associated railings and boundary fencing and gates from Western Dock to platform level.
