2/2020/1005/CATREE | Notification of Tree Works (CA trees)

White Lodge Down Road Pimperne DT11 8UP

T1 - Holly - Fell. This tree is growing within the canopy of copper beech tree resulting in crossing and rubbing branches. Lack of light has resulted in branches growing toward the road. It also has restricted the rooting area due to its close proximity to the brick boundary wall. T2 - Privet - Fell for the same reasons as above. T3 - Juniper - Fell because of extensive damage to bark along the length of the main stem. T4 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches growing west by 1m maximum in the area of the telephone lines to ensure clearance of the wires. Reduce over extended branch growing over the road by 2.5m to create a flowing crown line. T5 - Sorbus - No works. T6 - Prunus - Fell. This tree has multiple fungal fruiting bodies along its entire structure. T7 - Malus - Reduce branches by 1m around telephone lines to maintain clearance. T8 - Prunus - No works. T9 - Prunus - Fell because of extensive dieback in the crown resulting in poor form. This would create space for neighbouring trees. T10 - Malus - Large cavity noted on main stem at approximately 2.2m from ground. Reduce branches growing towards spruce tree by 3m and reduce height by 3m. T11 - Prunus - Crown lift by shortening branches growing over pavement by 1m. T12 - Hazel - Reduce branches by 3m of those growing under the canopy of 2 spruce trees. Reduce branches over pavement by 3m. T13 - Unknown species - Tree adjacent to pedestrian gate: remove epicormic growth throughout crown and reduce branches growing towards electricity power lines by 2m.
