Non material amendment to planning permission ref. no. 20/AP/0039 dated 22/12/2020 for 'Demolition of the existing building (43 Glengall Road) and erection of a single replacement building of up to 15 storeys (plus lower ground) together with new areas of public realm, replacement of commercial floorspace in the form of a Creative Commercial Centre including University related uses (comprised of light industrial Use Class E and part flexible Use Class E/F1) and ancillary café (Use Class E) on the lower and upper ground floors and Halls of Residence consisting of 676 student rooms (sui generis Use Class)'. The amendment seeks the following: to amend the wording of Condition 12. The current wording is as follows: No later than 12 months following implementation of development, full particulars and details of a scheme for the fit out of the approved use floorspace in, shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority and the development shall not be carried out otherwise than in accordance with any approval given. This should include details of the mechanical and electrical fit out of the units, showing heating and cooling provision, the inclusion of sprinkler systems for fire safety purposes, the provision of goods lifts, and the provision of kitchen and toilet facilities. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority, the development shall not be carried out otherwise than in accordance with any approval given, and practical completion of the light industrial(E) fit out shall be implemented no later than six months from the practical completion of the residential component. We are applying for the duration to be changed to "18 months."
