Non material amendment of planning permission 18/AP/1404: Refurbishment and extension of existing B1 office building involving the demolition of the existing fourth floor mansard roof, reconstruction of fourth floor, and extension at roof level to create an additional two floors of accommodation, resulting in a seven-storey building with roof terrace and associated plant. NMA sought: 1. To remove all the Kashmir Gold granite cladding to the ground floor dividing pillars and reveal the existing glazed bricks of the original building; 2. New Entrance on elevation of Lavington Street; 3. To replace a double door swing with a large single door swing entrance at the main entrance on Great Suffolk Street 4. To introduce a bicycle hoist to the rear of the site to give bike access from ground to lower ground level; 5. To form a glass enclosure at roof level to Lavington Street elevation, where the second staircase has been extended one flight and now used as a secondary means of escape due to building control considerations; 6. Roof Plantroom Compound now reduced in size; To refurbish the windows on a like for like basis by replacing the existing aluminium gold colour to new double glazed aluminium windows in anthracite grey colour Ral 7016
