(T1) Willow, fell. The tree is currently situated in the centre of the lawn and has excessively grown in size that it allows no daylight to the lawn and falling branches could prove hazardous to children and low amenity value. Some smaller branches have fallen but we feel that larger ones would prove to be highly dangerous. In addition, when it sheds its leaves it covers the lawn and is hazardous to pathways, making them slippery. Our plan would be to remove the Willow completely and plant 3 suitable trees at the rear of the garden adjacent e.g. a combination of either Cherry, Maple, Silver Birch, Oak, Hazel, Elder or Rowan. The garden area currently occupied by the tree would be returned to lawn. HAR/CA9, TPO#: 60E.
