RE: Tree work at above address (see sketch attached). The following proposed work is intended to address the main safety issues with the school trees including the removal of playground overhang providing perching point for pigeons rendering the playground unusable. (The pigeon mess issue as pointed out by staff and inspectors). 1 Ash - Fell to low stump. 2 Small dead Elm and other dead Ash in woodland area - Fell to low stump. 3 Goat Willow - Reduce on playground side by 3 to 4m. 4 Two Sycamore stems - Fell to low stumps. 5 Two Sycamore stumps - Fell to low stumps. 6 Two Ash stems - Fell to low stumps. 7 General Foliage - Cut back woody foliage to woodland side of fence. 8 Manchester Poplar (very poor condition with large dead section and advanced decay in stem) - Reduce to 3m (approx) stem. 9 Crack Willow (inappropriate tree with too many large species trees already in the area) - Fell to low stump 10 Group of Two Planes and one Oak - Remove major dead wood.
