Trees in a conservation area; Tree 1: The Field Maple will have the two lowest limbs on the garden side removed back to the main trunk of the tree. The remaining canopy will be reduced by up to 25%. Pruning will be carried out in the form of drop-crotching. Tree 2: The mature Ash tree adjacent to the outbuilding heavily shades the southern part of the garden. It will have the large limb overhanging the outbuilding removed. The limb that hangs over the boundary of the public Co-op car park, over the disabled area and pedestrian access to the Coop will be removed, for safety reasons. The remaining canopy will be reduced by up to 30% in the form of drop-crotching. Tree 3: The self-sown Sycamore stems will be reduced to fence height so that they become again part of the boundary hedge.
