APPLICATION FOR WORKS TO PROTECTED TREE(S) TPO REFERENCE 1369/2010 W1 Maple. Tree grown through the bottom of the fence. Root ball directly on the fence line. Very ragged ugly trunk. Damaged summer house (now removed). Does not appear listed on the TPO. Need to confirm if this needs planning to trim or remove. I really want to remove the tree. There is beautiful lime about 3 feet behind that i suspect the maple is now encroaching on the roots of. If i cannot remove this then I propose removing the left hand trunk and reducing the right hand trunk down to 5 meters in height. The tree is split and damaged above 5 meters on both trunks and poses a risk. Even today the tree has dropped some very large branches.
