T1 Willow tree: Tree has split and fallen over boundary line. Cut back the crown over hanging the boudary. T2 Ash tree: Crown lift the ash tree by removing the marked brances in image 4 and 5. Cut back to boundary to alleviate the issue.

G1, G2 Elms, Field Maples and Sycamores : Prune and trim back in line with the existing stone boundary wall alongside Exeter Road and the public footpath; crown lift to 4 metres above the public footpath. Fell all dead & dying Elm. T1, Cupressus Macrocarpa Conifer : Fell. T2, Oak : Prune 2 branches of the north eastern aspect in the mid to upper crown by up to 2.5m making 2 x natural target pruning cuts of approximately 100 mm. Reasons for the works are vehicle, public and pedestrian safety and to maintain the health, safety and amenity value of all the trees.

Field maple on the western aspect of the site at 87 on the boundary with 89a. Identified as T8 on plan; propose coppicing the tree to prevent squirrels gaining access to the roof; no plan to replant tree in this location as coppicing will allow ongoing survival of the tree; squirrels have caused extensive damage to the property with the cost mounting into thousands of pounds and causing a fire hazard; whilst the squirrels can still access the roof space there is risk of ongoing damage despite having fitted rodent/bird protection to solar panels.

Oak (T2 ), fell and Oak (T3) reduce to four metres as suggested within the arboriculture report. This is due to ring barking having been carried out by a previous owner of our property as well as possible herbicide impregnation into the bark and as such is resulting in the death of both trees. There is concern that as these two trees continue to deteriorate further branch drop will cause damage to either people or property as the trees stand on the boundary of Lower Broad Oak Road. As we discussed with the East Devon Tree Officer and Arboriculturist, we will be replanting two saplings to compensate for the two Oaks being lost.

Lime (T1 & T2) Remove all regrowth from southern side of Lime pollards back to clients boundary. Reason: Prune because trees are beginning to encroach onto neighbours property

The tree, T4, needs cutting back on the north west side because it has grown over the boundary into Stamps Cottage, Lyme Road, land. In order to maintain a good shape of the tree some reshaping will also be required.

T1, Sycamore : Crown lift secondary branches on south side to give 3m clearance to neighbouring roof. Reason: to achieve a space of approximately 3m between roof and tree which is free of branches. T,2 Cherry : Reduce low over extended limb back to a point above the boundary wall. Reason to reduce excessive shading.

Ash tree - on a field boundary adjacent to and overhanging a busy minor road. The tree is showing signs of advanced ash die back disease and presents a serious danger to those using the public highway. We wish to remove this danger by felling the tree. We are prepared to plant a replacement tree eg oak. Please refer to email correspondence (photos) and conversation with Arboricultural Officer Mr Robin Offer for details

T1 Birch. Secondary branch at 10 feet above ground level : remove secondary branch with a diameter cut of 1.5 inches. T2 Birch. Primary limb at 25 feet above ground level : reduce back to fence line leaving branch length of five metres. Primary limb at 14 feet above ground level : reduce back to in line with boundary leaving final branch length of four metres. Reason: to remove branches overhanging boundary and create more space and light for border shrubs.

Y1 - Yew Tree 1, prune back overhanging branches on neighbours (Lane End) side of boundary to enable us to put up a fence Y2 and Y3 - Yew Tree 2 and 3, remove dead wood Y4 - Raise crown by removing lower branches at ground level. There is also one branch that is growing out of the shape of tree so to cut this back in line of tree.
