This application is for a full crown reduction of 3 Beech trees situated on the boundary line of 1 Harrendon. The trees are currently overhanging 3 Harrendon and have previously been reduced all round to allow more light into the properties and keep the lateral limbs away from both properties. The Beech trees have grown into 1 crown and a reduction of 1.5-2m on the lateral limbs and 1m in height to create 1 overall well shaped and balanced crown. On the other side of the garden are 2 Sweet Chestnut trees which are growing toward the house and hanging substantially over the garden. We would like to reduce these lateral limbs by 1.5-2m to create less shading in the garden and around the properties.

The tree appears imposing due to its elevation, and blocks considerable light being located to the west. The height was recently reduced by the tree owner, but no work was carried out on the lateral branches over 1 Devon Crescent. Reduce lateral branches over 1 Devon Crescent only by up to 1.5 m to suitable growth points to reduce encroachment into the garden and reduce shading.
