1 Syddal Close Bramhall Stockport SK7 1HU

T1 - Sycamore. Fell T2 - Beech. Fell T3 - Oak. Target prune to reduce overhanging canopy above garden by 1-2m T4 - Oak. Target prune to reduce overhanging canopy above garden by 1-2m. Remove lowest limb which juts out below main canopy to left hand side as viewed from the house. T5 - Beech. No proposed work - tree included in sketch for reference. The garden is dominated by the two large oak trees which have been previously reduced and hence have a particularly dense canopy. The proposed minor pruning is intended to ease the oppressive feel of the trees above the garden - however slightly - whilst not stimulating vigorous regrowth. It can potentially be repeated periodically and would be completed using MEWP for access. T1 is a self-sown sycamore in the very corner of the garden. Due to its position at the outside and end of the row of trees, it is a poor form - very one-sided and the canopy projects almost entirely over the gardens behind on Syddal Green. These gardens have no access to the road from any point. The client would like to remove this tree in order to allow more afternoon light into their garden, before the sun disappears behind the oaks. It is also our opinion that it would be preferable to remove this tree whilst it is relatively young, as any future work will become increasingly difficult due to its extremely awkward location, as the tree gets larger. There is a beech tree adjacent to the sycamore - marked as T5 on the sketch plan - which is a much better form and is set further back from the gardens on Syddal Green - our suggestion would be that this tree would develop better in the long term without the sycamore and would form a natural and much improved replacement. T2 is a comparatively small beech located mostly within the canopy of T3. The owners of 3 Syddal Close would like to remove this tree to allow more light into their garden, again without interfering with the large oaks. TPO 117W.

57 Priestnall Road Heaton Mersey Stockport SK4 3DL

The trees comprise mainly of Lyme trees, one horse chestnut and one Beech tree. These trees are all in the border that share a boundary adjoining with both Mersey Road and Priestnall Road. They are in a conservation Zone labeled G2 in the sketch map which is 57 priestnall Road please see attached as per correspondence from SMBC. It is my intention to remove any dead dying or dangerous branches from this group of trees. For the benefit of motorists, pedestrians and services I felt it may be prudent to highlight this. This application is for the reduction of lateral limbs to the beech tree to the left of the entrance as you look at the property. The intention is to give a three metre clearance from the neighbouring property. Removing only secondary branches. In addition to this, the tree located within the premises adjacent to the house at the end of the drive has been reduced in the past it is my recommendation that we carry out a full reduction to the height of the old cuts. 7 Barrack Hill Bredbury Stockport SK6 3BA

As per the attached photo we're applying to cut the large branch of the tree and low hanging smaller branches that cross the driveway entrance of our house at 7 Barrack Hill, Romiley, SK63BA. The low branch prevents access for larger vehicles for delivery of good for example box vans , skip delivery etc. In addition to this in recent stormy conditions the driveway has been littered with large fallen branches and we would like the branch crossing the driveway cut down for safety reasons for ourselves , the public and to prevent damage to our vehicles and the house. Thanks for taking the time to review our application. Updated Application: Following approval of the original works above I held a meeting with my neighbor and a tree surgeon. The Tree Surgeon having viewed the tree has recommended a full 3m reduction from top to bottom of the tree as its too large and is a danger to the houses / vehicles due to its close proximity. The Tree Surgeon raised concerns that if he just maintained the internal side of the tree closest to the houses it could cause a weight imbalance and has therefore recommended a 3m reduction of the tree for the full height. I have attached some additional photos from my original application so you can get a idea of the full size of the tree and the damage it could cause if not maintained. TPO#: - 303E.
