T18 Horse Chestnut - Selective reduction of T18. Reduce storm damaged branches and those containing significant cavities by 10% of branch length. Reduce crown height by 15 % whilst retaining all lower internal growth. Reduction cuts to be made back to a suitable side branch that maintains a flowing branch line and character of the tree. This will allow the tree and habitats to be retained and will reduce wind loading on the trunk whilst not overly exposing the adjacent trees to significant increased wind loading. This will allow the tree to be retained in the short term and provide a safe, phased, decline pathway.
