Sycamore - reduce crown by 30 percent as if it is blown down it could either fall onto the house or onto the railway line.

T1 Sycamore- Reduce in height by approx. 4m. Prune back radial spread all around by approx. 2.5-3 m. Remove low trunk growth and major deadwood. The tree owner expressed concern that in autumn the leaves block the highway storm drain and rainwater cascades down his drive into his garage and house

We are applying to carry out work on three trees on the same property. The first being a box Elder tree (T7), which we would like to crown reduce by 1.5 meters all round in hight and width. This is to bring the the tree away from the house preventing damage and keep the tree to a sensible size to the area in which the tree is growing. Doing this will allow more sunlight to the shrubs and soil below helping to nutrients to the tree. The second Tree is a Sycamore (T1) which we would also like to carry out work upon. For this tree we would like to crown reduce it by 2 meters all round in hight and width. This is in order to maintain the tree from further outgrowing of the area it is in, and minimize the foliage it produces below, as well as create more sunlight to the area in which it grows in. The Third Tree is also a Sycamore (T2) which we would like to crown reduce also by 2 meters all round in hight and width. This is due to all trees growing to close together. This will also help create more sunlight to the surrounding trees and properties.

Sycamore (T1) - Fell. Large highly reactive and fast growing species in an area too small for its size. Is causing excessive shading and leaf drop in applicants balcony and house. Trees are of no amenity value. Suggestion has been made for property management company to plant ornamental species where possible. Sycamore (T2) - Fell. As above.

Cut back tree in front garden sue to excessive shedding and size. It hasn't been cut back since 2013. We'dlike to cut the tree back from the house. Reduce the height of the tree by 3 metres.
