14 Champions Row Wilbury Avenue Hove Brighton & Hove BN3 6AZ

Front Garden T1 - x 2 Elm Crown reduce by 30%, up to 2.5 - 3m to leave a smaller neater crown. ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY. The subject trees are 2 Elm at the front of 14 Wilbury Avenue. The subject trees are extremely large for their location; blocking light from, and dropping detritus upon, many of the surrounding properties. The suggested works are to reduce the crowns together, as a single crown, to maintain them at a more suitable size for their location, while decreasing nuisance to the occupiers of the surrounding properties. The suggested works will reduce the trees to a similar size to which they have historically been pruned. A 30% crown reduction of approximately 3-4m, leaving a height of approximately 15-16m is also consistent with the pruning of the local council owned street trees, further adding to their amenity value. The suggested works will be carried out in compliance with BHCC elm disease prevention protocols during a period of lesser beetle activity.

1 Fircroft Close Brighton Brighton & Hove BN1 6RY

Yew tree (only one tree) - reduce & re-shape Crown & sides of the tree by three meters. The tree is so large that it is overhanging the roof & walls of neighbours at 3 Fircroft Close, it is also overhanging our garage (1 Fircroft Close) - leaf drop is blocking the guttering on both properties. I am concerned of the risk the tree poses to the identified buildings, it is leaning towards the garage of 1 Fircroft Close & property at 3 Fircroft Close. Considering the recent Autumn / Winter storms we've had, I'm desperate to reduce the canopy size before Autumn to minimise the chances of it being blown over & damaging these buildings in a storm. The tree trunk /base is located two meters away from the garage wall belonging to us (1 Fircroft Close) & five meters away from the wall of 3 Fircroft Close. Neighbours at both 4 & 6 Fircroft Close have complained to me that the tree is blocking their light & would like the tree reduced in size.

7 Dyke Road Avenue Hove Brighton & Hove BN3 6QA

Neighbours Tree - Front Drive T1 - Beech Remove lowest limb growing over drive. Reduce mid crown by 2-3m. Reduce top corner to shape and balance. Cut back low overhang growth back to wall line. Remove major dead wood that could fall into clients side. The subject tree sits on the boundary line to house's 9 & 7, with ownership belonging to No9. The lower and mid crown overhangs the gate entrance to No7 by approximately 5.5m from the boundary line with lowest limb giving an approximate clearance from ground level of 3m. The intended works, remove lowest limb, would lift the crown to give an approximate clearance of 5m while reducing the remainder of the overhanging crown by 2 to 3m to minimise the overhang to client's property. The reducing works for the upper crown would be miner, approximately 0.5 to 1m for shaping and balancing. There is also low overhanging growth from a limb that's over on property 9. Overhang extends approximately 1.5m with intended works to cutback overhang to boundary or near boundary line. Provision of MEWP ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY.

1. Sorbus tree growing into building and blocking street light. This tree was planted in the wrong location and will require continual maintenance pruning to clear building and light. We recommend this tree is felled to as close to ground level as possible. 2. Group of acer trees by parking area, prune to lift crown to 5m from ground level over parking spaces.

87A Goldstone Villas Hove Brighton & Hove BN3 3RW

Fell 2 lime trees at the property which have grown extremely high and are blocking light to to neighbouring properties. They are currently higher than existing properties despite being cut back on numerous occasions. Insurance companies of neighbouring properties have refused insurance due to the proximity and height of the trees. The leaves cause drain blockages in autumn and in summer aphid droppings are so significant that they are unable to use their garden or parking area. The roots have also damaged the neighbours wall causing cracks which need to be regularly repaired plus damage to the sub structure of our decking. We have asked multiple neighbours and they are all in agreement that they wish to fell the trees and have them replaced with something more suited to the urban setting. At least one neighbour (Ian Steele) has already been in contact with Paul Dave to ask about felling the trees on 9th June.
