1. There is a yew tree (T14) between our house at 18 Hazeldene Meads and the adjacent property at 16 Hazeldene Meads. It is now overgrown and is almost touching the two houses. We are concerned about the roots affecting the property at 16 Hazeldene Meads where the property was recently extended to become close to the boundary fence. At 18 Hazeldene Meads, it is affecting the light into our property and will encroach onto the roof and cause damage if allowed to grow. T14 Yew - Reduce in height by approx. 2m so that the top of the tree is at the same level as the adjacent gutter of 18 Hazeldene meads. Prune the sides of the tree to give 1m clearance of the properties on either side. T15 Silver Birch - Reduce the size of the crown by a maximum of 1.5m and remove dead wood.

The tree is a mature sycamore. It has died and is leaning over the boundary towards Ainsworth House on Wellington Road. The tree needs to be felled and made safe.

This large beech tree is on the boundary between my house (no11) and nos 6 and 7 Beechwood Close. It also spreads over my neighbours garden at 12 Surrenden Close. All 4 households would like the crown of the tree to be lifted and the size to be reduced as it is shading the gardens in Beechwood Close and blocking light from my property and is now very close to my house. I wish to apply to reduce the size of the crown by a maximum of 2-2.5m

The suggested works will remove growth from the pole to prevent damage to the lines. T3 is a yew, close the building, with an included bark union at approximately 4-5m. The suggested works will remove the risk of failure. T4, T5 and T6 are all yew. The suggested works will reduce the size and shape of the trees, improving the balance, to match the size and shape of the majority of the trees in the garden, allowing more light into the property.

Rear Garden, Right Hand Side of House G1 - Sycamore x 3 Repollard back to previous points and remove epicormic growth. Rear Garden, Left Hand Side, Rear of House T2 - Whitebeam Reduce crown by 1 to 1.5 metres all round to leave a smaller, neater crown. Rear Garden, Rear Boundary H3 - Conifer Hedge Trim top and face to neaten Rear Garden, Right Hand Side of Huose T4 - Purple Plum Reduce in height by approximately 40% to just below the heiht of that of the low branches on the Sycamore Rear Garden, Right Hand Side, Front of Conifer Hedge T5 - Shrub Trim top to neaten. The sycamore trees have large spreading crowns. Historically they have been heavily reduced which in turn has left some large old pruning wounds. These old wounds are potential weak points, especially as the regrowth from these points increases in size and weight. The suggested works will reduce the risk of failure and help manage the trees for the long-term future. ALL ITEMS INCLUDING REMOVING ARISING DEBRIS, LEAVING SITE CLEAN AND TIDY.

T1 Sycamore on rear boundary- thin lower crown and prune back lateral limbs off roof to give 1-2m clearance. Reduce remaining crown by 2m and thin density of branches by 10%. T2 Sycamore overhanging the properties at the rear- reduce the size of the crown by 2m and thin the density of branches by 10% T3 & T4 - 2No. Sycamores nearest the house- remove basal growth and reduce the size of the crown by 1.5 m The proposed work is part of an ongoing maintenance schedule to keep the trees appropriate to their location in close proximity to adjacent property and buildings.

Sycamore x4 all included in G1 of TPO (No 4) 2013. Sycamore nearest house - Reduce in height to 10m removing approx 3-4 m. This is a condition of the house insurance for tree within a certain distance of the building. Sycamore x3 (the next 3 nearest trees in G1 going towards the rear boundary. - reduce in height by 3m All the trees have a tall upright form and my client would like to keep them an appropriate height for their location near his house.
