Reason for all: In order to remedy or mitigate for identified hazards.

T1 - Horse Chestnut - rear boundary No.22 Windley Tye - Reduce height by 5m max; reduce sides back to previous pruning points; lightly thin crown by 10% maximum; all cuts to suitable growing points and shape over to leave natural profile. Reason: Branches etc. are falling into No.22 and severely restricting safe play for children in the garden. Tree also showing signs of bleeding canker and deadwood; T2 - Horse Chestnut in rear garden overhanging 22 Windley Tye - reduce crown overhanging rear garden of 22 Windley Tye to the boundary line, cutting to suitable growing points, leaving a flowing profile, crown clean and crown thin by 20%, cutting to branch collar.

G2 - Hornbeam x3 adjacent to Plot 15-19 - Pruning to a suitable growth point reduce back the hornbeam by a maximum of 2m, maintaining a natural crown shape to ensure 2.5m clearance from the roof of the caravan. Reason: The branches are beginning to encroach upon the roof of the caravan and liable to cause damage. pruning to give clearance will alleviate this issue.

T1 & T2 - crown reduction 2-3 m to previous pruning points, crown lift lower younger branches to approx 5.5m. T1-T4, T6-T9 & T11 - Remove epicormic growth from main stem up to crown break annually as part of 5 year management plan Reason: to create a natural profile, maintain clearance on the verge/road and maintain health and safety of the trees.

T1 Oak - 1-1.5 m crown reduction to previous pruning points, measures 3.5 m from ground to canopy, lift by 0.5 m (4 m crown lift), Deadwood removal. Reason: Dead branches keep falling and it can be dangerous. The oak also overhangs a track at the rear.

All trees on the Broomfield Hospital site protected by TPO's 2001/072, 2001/107, 2002/071, 2002/127 and 2003/055 - 5 year management plan to crown lift to give 2.4m clearance from ground level over footpaths, 3m clearance over parking bays and 5.4m clearance over roads. Within the same management period, clear out deadwood/dangerous trees/branches as appropriate after first taking photos and providing them to LPA. Reason: to prevent damage to property/injury to visitors/staff at the site.

T2 Willow- Located at front of 5 The Tabrums- Re- pollard to the same points on limbs. Reason: Limbs are large and dangerous.

All in A1- T1 Horse Chestnut- Thin by 30%, T2 Sycamore- Remove suckers , T3 Turkey Oak- Reduce by max 3m. Reason for all: General maintenance.

T9 Oak (Quercus robur)- Located within the hedgerow which divides the property frontage and public open land to South- Reduce vertical height of tree canopy by up to 2.5m or to the previous reduction points, cutting to suitable growth points for regrowth to occur, reduce remaining lateral branch work in accordance with newly established top height, up to 2.5m cutting to suitable growth points or side branches, crown clean of all major deadwood and rubbing/crossing branches where present. Reason: To reduce overall scale of tree for future maintenance T10- Oak (Quercus robur)- Located within the hedgerow which divides the property frontage and public open land to South, adjacent to T1 to East - Reduce vertical height of tree canopy by up to 1.5m or to the previous reduction points, cutting to suitable growth points for regrowth to occur, reduce remaining lateral branch work in accordance with newly established top height, up to 1.5m cutting to suitable growth points or side branches, crown clean of all major deadwood and rubbing/crossing branches where present. Reason: To reduce overall scale of tree for future maintenance

T1 Oak - located in rear garden - Reduction of overhanging branches and limbs by 2m. Reason: overhanging and rubbing onto garage roof.
