G1. Consisting of 3 common Beech trees. Reduce Heights by 3m and laterally 2m on the frontage toward the house (TPO no. 20, 1972)

T1 Cedar - Removal of 2 branches which reach out towards my house. (TPO no. 16, 1971)

T1 Horse Chestnut: Crown reduce by 2m in height and radial spread, however up to 3m radial spread toward the house and crown clean. T2 Norway Maple: Crown reduce by 2m in height and radial spread. Reasons - Trees are overly dominant in a small garden and block sunlight. (TPO - 25, 1993)

At the rear of the house a Sycamore tree with a large cavity at the bottom, needs to be removed to allow the other four sycamores in its place to grow. (TPO 23, 1973)

T1 Twin stemmed Ash tree - Remove 1 long lateral bough growing out of shape and over house T2 Ash: Fell T3 Small Ash tree - Remove 1 low bough T7 Sycamore tree - Remove 2 low boughs (TPO 09, 2012)

T1 Mulberry - Crown lift to 4 metres measured from ground level. T2 Sycamore - Left side of driveway entrance: Crown lift to give a ground clearance of 5m over the driveway and 3m over the pavement. Prune back lower branch toward Croydon sign, by 1m. T3 Holly - Overhanging pavement on Orchard Way, opp. Burrell Close. Crown lift to give a ground clearance of 3m above the pavement. Reduce spread of remaining lower branches by 1m approx. to maintain visibility of the '20' sign. G4 Various species - Trees and shrubs overhanging right boundary onto Sloane Walk: Prune back to boundary, all regrowth shoots, up to 1.5m above the top of the fence. Crown lift trees which overhang the road (5 no. prunus; 3 no. Oak; 1 no. Ash; 1 no. Willow) to give a ground clearance of 5.5m. Remove broken branch from mature ash. Reduce lateral spread over road of 1 no. Oak growing toward lamppost 005, by 1.5m to maintain clearance to the lamppost and house. T5 Willow (dead) - Opposite Dorchester Court : Remove (TPO 41, 1979)

T1 Oak tree - Crown thin by 10% - Cut back lateral growth near house to clear house by 2m maximum cut size of 25mm. (TPO 16, 2002)

T1 Lime tree - Crown thin by 10%- Cut back 1 bough near house to clear by 3m T2 Oak tree- Crown thin by 10%- Remove 4 low branches to clear road by 5m (TPO 16, 2002)

T6 (T1 on TPO) - Cedar - To crown clean and remove Ivy T10 (T2 on TPO) - Birch - To fell Reason - Bacterial Canker - Tree in-decline T11 (T4 on TPO) - Birch - To crown reduce by 2.5m from height and 1.5m from radial spread. Reason - To maintain size of tree as very close to the house. T12 (T3 on TPO) - Cedar - To crown raise to 5.2m over the road Reason - To allow clearance for high sided vehicles (TPO 12, 1970)

T1 Beech - 2 metre overall crown reduction up to a max cut size of 25mm. (TPO 11, 1978) I refer to the previous application 21/00457/TRE and decision dated 31/03/2021. This is a revised application as discussed with Robert Goode, Tree Officer (03/09/2021). The trunk is 17ft from garage and 23ft from the house. Excessive shading from the canopy which is overhanging the glass lantern of Orangery extension. Large tree roots were found in rain water 'down pipes' and drainage during the Orangery building works requiring the drains to be rerouted (see photos). Significant root upheaval affecting garden and distortion of concrete fence posts (rear of property). Garden upheaval - horizontal at 7 inches (see photos). Concrete fence post significantly off vertical (see photos). Excessive fall of beech nuts. Ivy will be removed from trunk as recommended by Robert Goode.
