Application to remove Sycamore trees (T1, T2, T3 and T4). The branches of all trees are coming into contact with the garage roof and the canopy of these trees is significantly shading our and our neighbours gardens. The trunk of T1 is at an angle of circa 60 degrees to the horizontal and is resting on the boundary fence and we have concerns regarding the long term stability of this tree. The concrete slab base upon which the garages sit has cracked and lifted adjacent to trees T3 and T4. The trees are not in particularly good condition.

T1,T2,T3 - Silver Birch - fell these trees that are growing in hedge. T4 - Cypress - fell this tree which is growing too close to the garage. T5- Sweet Chestnut - fell this poorly formed leaning tree which has several cavities in the main stem. T6 - Pine - reduce branches back from roof/gutter to leave 2m clearance T7,T8,T9 - Sweet Chestnut - re-pollard these trees to previous pollard points. T10 - Sweet Chestnut - remove the back stem which is showing signs of dieback & give the front stem more chance to develop

ASH 1 - Reduce length of 6cm diam branch by 3m overhanging road and pavement. Cut back 6cm diam branch back by 2m to main trunk that overhangs main power line to numerous properties. Tidy broken spurs and remove suspended timber ASH 2 - Cut back lowest branch that overhangs garage roof to main trunk - 4 metres x 5cm diam ASH 3 - overhanging neighboroughing gardens which has 3 trunks. Cut back the two, lowest, thin, pendulous branches to main trunk , reducing weight. Remove all broken suspended timber. Cut back broken spurs. Cut back significant branch to main trunk. ASH 4 - Cut back lowest branch of rear trunk to main trunk - 4m long x 20 cm diam . This branch has had previous surgery and has produced no terminal growth since. Cut back to main trunk 5cm branch immediately above, again with no terminal growth. Cut back two lower branches on road-facing trunk, 5cm diam x 3m and 6m, reducing weight and effecting crown lift of 2m. Remove all epicormic growth

TPO Area 05/01197/HDC, Variegated Maple (T 60914) - Reduce the East side from 6m to 4m to give a 2m clearance from the garage roof. Reduce the West side from 5m to 3m and North side from 6m to 4m to balance the canopy. Crown lift over drive to 3m. Removal of epicormic growth in lower canopy. Red Maple (T 60915) - Crown thin by 20% to allow more light in. Crown lift over drive to 3m.

T1 - Willow - Reduce height by 4 metres, Reduce lowest branch back to previous pruning points. T2 - Ash - Reduce back to previous pruning points, Remove 2 lowest branches and reduce secondary branching to give 2 metre clearance from outbuilding roof. T3 - Silver Birch - Reduce by 3 metres back to previous pruning points and reduce by 1.5 to 2 metres off the lateral growth towards garden/house. T4 - Pear - Reduce laterals by 2 metres growing over garage and 2 metres clearance from the fabric of the house T5 - Yew - Remove T6 - Pine - Remove the smaller of the two pines T7 - Silver Birch - 4 metre reduction T8 - Rear boundary hedge - Reduce back 1.5 metres further than the previous pruning points.

T1 Lime - Crown lift off garage roof to give 3m clearance above roof and tip reduce branches overhanging drive by c 1 - 1.5m to take branches off fabric of the roof and from overhanging drive G2 Group of x2 Conifer, x1 Mt Ash - Fell T3 Ash tree - Remove x3 branches growing through crown of Cherry Plum tree to rear

Oak T1 (site plan)/T36 (HDC TPO Plan) - Crown lift to provide 2.5m clearance over ridge of new garage roof. The new garage will have a ridge height of 4.4m above the garage floor level. Ths means crown lifting to 6.9m above garage floor height.

Large Oak situated along side the garage - crown raise up to 7m to give clearance to the garage Large tree situated in the lane that runs along side the property - This tree is also overhanging the garage and requires crown raising by 7m to clear away from the roof. Cherry - remove deadwood.

Conifer hedge in the rear garden - reduced down by 1m which would leave the hedge at a height of 3m from ground level Hawthorne (overgrown) - remove down to ground level as it is too near the garage and is knocking the tiles off the roof
