3x limes, side trimmed 1.5 mtrs. Branches reaching roof and guttering

Trees T.1(sycamore), T.2 (horse chestnut) and T.3 (sycamore) are growing over a neighbouring property (132 Waltham Road) causing excessive shading and sap dropping onto the roof of the house. The result is that the neighbour is suffering large amounts of moss on the roof and the roof requires professional cleaning. Permission is sought to prune the overhanging branches to allow 2 metre clearance away from the roof. Tree T.11 (cedar) is growing over the roof of 156 Waltham Road, causing cedar needles to drop into the gutter and block the drainage of water. Permission is sought to prune the overhanging branches to allow a 2 metre clearance away from the roof.

Sycamore tree T62: reduce canopy encroachment back from dwelling by 3ft. Reason: management of canopy encroachment over dwelling and roof.

Due to excessive shading, I would like to apply for the following works to be carried out to trees T1 and T2 both Cedars. Both trees to be reduced and thinned to bring them away from the property roof and gutter. TI /T2 (treat as one canopy) - reduce each side canopy adjacent to the property by 2 metres from the gutter line. Reduce each side canopy into road approx. 2m from kerb line. Reduce the north side overhang to number 7 to approx. 5-6 m from T1 trunk and reduce side overhang to number 5 to approx. 5-6m from T2 trunk. Reshape accordingly. Amended work specification T1 Scots Pine: Lift canopy removing all branches indicated in Photo 8 Amended work specification T2 Copper Beech: Reduce height to between 7.5m and 8m. Remove two low branches and removal of large limb over driveway as indicated in photo 2. Lift canopy to 4m. Reduce canopy spread to a 4m radius from the base of the tree. Reason: improve light and damage being caused to roof. T3 Rowan: Fell, Reason: it is diseased T4 Willow; Pollard, cutting back to previous cut points. Reason: maintain in existing management regime. T5 Oak; Crown reduction and crown lift as indicated in photo 7

T2 located in the grounds of the Limes: Fell. Reason; overhangs roof of Belraith Mews, hard to maintain. T4 located in the grounds of the Limes: remove lower branches, over Belraith Mews. Reason: management of canopy encroachment. T6 located in car park of Belraith Mews: Remove lower branch at stem, over hanging into Belraith Mews, towards No.2. Reduce canopy spread by 4m from base of tree on radius. T7 Located in car park of Belraith Mews next to parking bay 6: Fell. Reason Low amenity and canopy wholly over car parking bay. T7 and T8 located at The Lime; Reduce / take off lower branches over hanging into Belraith Mews.

Fell single Pine tree(part of G1) at the back of the property. Following inspection by a qualified tree surgeon, this tree has started to show signs of heaving at the roots. It is also leaning significantly towards the property. The tree is also excessively shading the garden and the top is nearly over the roof of the house. The removal of this tree will not significantly reduce the amenity value in the village as there are 8 other Pine trees in the garden. I have had advice off a tree surgeon who have told me that currently any works done to this tree will have to be done via a 'man riding device of some sort. This is due to the angle that the tree is leaning at, increasing the risk of it falling over if surgeons were to climb the tree. Currently with permission of the landowner at the rear of our property, tree surgeons could access the tree with the necessary equipment. However there are plans for housing to be built on this land, work on which has now started. Once this has been completed, I would then have to hire a crane at significant costs for any works carried out on this tree. This will even make maintenance of this tree extremely difficult to facilitate, not only due to the financial implications, but also due to limited availability of equipment and access from the front of our property. We have also been advised following an inspection, that the tree has approximately 20 years growing still to do. This will continue to encroach on to the property and its removal more difficult and dangerous for the workman undertaking the job.

Chestnut (T2)- Reduce canopy spread to fence boundary. Canopy spread is large and conkers dropping from the branches have caused damage to conservatory roof (photos attached). Also crack to garage floor which is believed to be from roots of trees. Sycamore (T1) - Reduce canopy spread to fence boundary. Overhanging drive.

Sycamore T12. The tree is situated to the right of the drive at number 12 Station Road. Lift canopy and reduce back from property by removing 7 branches indicated in the attached 5 pictures related to the removal of branches that are encroaching over the property by raising the canopy. Reduce canopy spread to 2 meter radius from the tree as indicated in the attached photo's. The tree has grown over the house close to the roof, and also provides area's for birds to foul on the drive way and cars over and above the normal level of expected bird mess.
