Blue Atlas Cedar, rear of property: Fell. Reason: tree has suffered severe storm damage and is now unbalanced, tree is now unsafe leaving remaining canopy over the sports field.

Ash tree behind summer house identified as T1 in attached Sketch. The Ash tree is in an extremely poor physiological condition most probably due to Ash die back. Ivy now populates the majority of the tree. It has also suffered structural damage in recent storms when a neighbouring tree fell upon it. Our client is requesting removal of the tree.

Ash tree as identified as T1 on the attached Sketch Plan. Request to remove tree. Reason: The tree has two codominant stems joined at the base. There is evidence of significant decay at the top of the southern most stem as seen in Pic 2. We believe that this decay may extend to the base of the tree. A sounding hammer has been used at the base of the southernmost stem and a significant cavity is suspected although external signs were not identified. The previously adjacent Ash tree within a few metres proximity failed at the base and fell within a recent storm (24/10/23). The particular tree was discovered to have significant heartwood decay which hadn`t previously been identified. The structural failure of the tree caused damage to both the clients and neighbouring property. Naturally the client is concerned over the structural defect of this remaining Ash tree.

T1 ( T8 of Order) Beech: reduce crown spread to the North by 3.5m to leave a finished length of 9m. Reduce crown spread to the east by 2.4m to leave a finished length of 10m. Reduce lateral spread to the south by 3m to leave a finished length of 8m. All measurements are from main stem. Reason: tree condition, see supporting tree report, survey notes page 9.

Lime tree and Sycamore tree: reduce both trees to approximately 9m in height and 6m wide. Reason: encroachment over neighbouring properties.

Roadside tree T1 - Beech - Crown reduce West south west side overhanging neighbours drive 39 Caistor Rd Laceby. The reduction will balance the shape of the tree. The tree currently stands at 22m in height with a spread of 25m , we intend to reduce neighbouring WsW side back to secondary growth points by 4m leaving a crown radius no less than 21m. Tree to be crown lifted to 6m above ground level.

Oak tree in rear garden: Reduce by 3m to leave a height of 13m. Reduce width by 3m to leave a width of 10m. Reason: general management in line with the 2015 application that was granted permission.

Due to excessive shading, I would like to apply for the following works to be carried out to T1 and T2 both Cedars to front elevation of property. Both trees to be reduced in height and cut back to bring them away from the property and neighboring property Cedar T1 reduce canopy spread back 1m from property in line with concrete path that abuts tarmac drive as per photo. Reduce canopy over highway back to a point 1.5m from curb line. Reduce canopy spread towards number 7 Woodrow Park to a point 4m from base of tree. Reduce the overall height of Cedar T1 to 12m. Cedar T2 reduce canopy spread back 1m from property in line with concrete path that abuts tarmac drive as per photo. Reduce canopy over highway back to a point 1.5m from curb line. Reduce canopy spread towards number 5 Woodrow Park to a point 5m from base of tree. Reduce the overall height of Cedar T2 to 12m.

Oak tree: remove 4 branches as indicated in supporting photo. Reason: encroachment over parking spaces and associated bird mess.

T1 - Beech - Whole crown reduction to 21m above ground to provide sufficient clearance to property. T2 - Beech - Whole crown reduction to 21m above ground to provide sufficient clearance to property. Trees currently stand at approximately 25m . Trees to be reduced by 4m back to secondary growth points.
