MAIN APPLICATION TREE WORKS 1 1, T1 & T2 - Copper Beech trees - in front garden next to the road. Aim - to lift the crown - clean and clear dead wood with a reduction of 10% 2, T3 - Norway Maple - drive way. Aim - to lift the crown, reshape/balance (currently lopsided) crown clean with a reduction of 10% 3, G1 - rear garden area 2 poor quality Fir trees next to the garage, west side of garden Aim - remove. 1 poor quality Fir tree beneath the Holm Oak, west side of garden Aim - remove Unidentified Evergreen tree - between Holm Oak and Silver Birch - west side rear garden. Aim - Crown reduction to reduce the overall size and shape thus allowing more light to the Silver Birch Tree. A reduction of 5ft. Silver Birch Tree - rear garden Aim - Crown clean to remove dead and dying wood to prolong life of the tree. Eucalyptus Tree - east side of garden Aim - Crown reduction by 10-15% its height and proximity to our eastern boundary. It's height has become a concern to our elderly neighbour at no 76a. Elder tree - east side of garden adjacent to neighbour no 78 fence and shed. Aim - remove as dead. We intend to plant new trees once the works have been completed. Currently we have 2 new apple trees and a Persian Ironwood tree to be added to the garden in G1. We are liaising with our arborealist about sourcing suitable trees.

Cosmetic pruning of Trees on Neighbouring Boundary

Sycamores (Area A) - reduce overhanging branches back to nearest suitable growth points to property boundary. Numerous over extending branches, of which one has broken out in the past. Also causing excessive shading.

To remove a beech tree on the front boundary of our property leaning over the road. Further information detailed in the application form.

Hedgerow removal - The hedge forms a boundary adjacent to the minor lane to either side of an existing farm and house access to the north east side of the minor lane. The access has limited visibility in both directions resulting from the location of the hedge close to the roadway edge (with a narrow verge). It is therefore notified that the hedge is proposed to be removed for the distance of 110m to the north west and 62m to the south east to improve the vision for users of this access. As a part of the proposal and integral with it, is a commitment to replace the removed hedge in its entirety with an additional length of approx. 20m (curving into the site access) with a new hedge but set back from the edge of the vision splay by approx. 1.5m to allow for the canopy to grow towards the roadway without impeding the vision.

2 Beech, 3 Pine, 1 Hazel, 1 Walnut, 1 Holly and 1 Yew - The trees identified have root systems that grow into an area where our customer wishes to erect a boundary fence on his property. Further details on the application form.

The existing hedge to the best of my knowledge is Chinese privet and is in decline/dying. It hasn't been managed for many years and is approximately 25m in length. We believe it was planted between 25-30 years ago. I would like to remove this and replace with a mixed native hedge along the boundary fence, approximately 60m of new hedge.

Remove 4 conifers on rear boundary and re-plant with suiable replacements

Oak (T1 and T2). Cut back the canopies of both trees, to the boundary between property N0. 61 and N0.63. The section of the canopies to be removed is highlighted in red on the attached plan.
