T2. Lime x 2 & Beech (on boundary line adjacent to house) - Reduce lateral encroachment towards house by up to 3m to provide suitable clearance from property. T1 Horse Chestnut, Action - Reduce tree structure to a smaller dimension. 2-3m lateral reduction, 5-6m height reduction. Thin out centre. Produce new tree form. Reason - Turn tree into a much smaller manageable form, for long term retention with a re-pollarding regime carried out every 3 years. This will bring a feature tree into line with the historic pollard trees along the driveway, that the property already embraces. This will ensure residents of High Beeches, existing and future, will continue to enjoy a tree within its boundary that fits into a more living at home lifestyle.

This application is for a full crown reduction of 3 Beech trees situated on the boundary line of 1 Harrendon. The trees are currently overhanging 3 Harrendon and have previously been reduced all round to allow more light into the properties and keep the lateral limbs away from both properties. The Beech trees have grown into 1 crown and a reduction of 1.5-2m on the lateral limbs and 1m in height to create 1 overall well shaped and balanced crown. On the other side of the garden are 2 Sweet Chestnut trees which are growing toward the house and hanging substantially over the garden. We would like to reduce these lateral limbs by 1.5-2m to create less shading in the garden and around the properties.

T1 Lime- Remove epicormic growth and reduce lateral branches by 1.5m on 45 Wray Park Roads boundary. Tree is in close proximity to house and causes excessive shading to that area.

Silver Birch (T1) - To reduce mature neighbouring Silver Birch located along the rear boundary, back to previous reduction points (boundary line) up to a height of 6.0m. The remaining branches above this will be reduced by 2.0m to reduce the encroachment over the house. Rear Garden - Adjacent to North Boundary. Pine: Leaning, fell as close to ground level as possible. T1 is leaning and needs to be removed. Pine: Remove 4 low branches to the east side, remove dead and diseased wood, the branches are leaning onto the conservatory and will cause damage if they are not removed. Beech x2 & Pine - 6737, Cut back to a vertical line 2.5 metres from the edge of the property. Both T4 and T5 are too large for the space and are causing unacceptable amounts of shade. Pine - 6788, Leaning over chimney. Fell as close to ground level as possible. T6 needs to be removed to abate any further moss and damp on/ within the house.
