Semi Mature Oak Tree (Applicants ref: T2) - oak tree closest to the house. Reduce canopy between 1.5m-2m in accordance with BS3998 to reduce weight and sail effect - standing on group G1 of Tree Preservation Order

T1 (applicants ref.) - Weeping Willow: Re-pollard back to previous pollard points due to the extensive regrowth and proximity to the house. This is a proposed reduction of the tree's crown by approximately 20% (up to 2 metres in proximity to the property). T1 of Tree Preservation Order

T1, T2, T3 & T4 (applicant's references - as identified in photos attached to email dated 30th November 2022), all Sweet Chestnuts. Standing within a pocket of protected trees containing various other trees with stems also covered in ivy growth. All stand 14m high and 6m lateral spread and although the applicant wants to keep the trees as a screen, they request permission to have the heights reduced to 7m which would effectively coppice them, in order to promote regrowth on a smaller scale. The reason is due to the excessive over shading, debris and the chance of limb failure (limb broke from the stem, which struck the house front on a previous occasion). Applicants ref: T2 Oriental Plane in rear garden - Reduce by 1.5m the lateral branches in southern mid crown overhanging house, pruning to suitable growth points. - Reduce branches in lower southern crown overhanging footpath by 2m beyond wall. - Reduce 1 protruding branch in eastern mid crown by up to 2m to blend in profile of remaining crown. - Remove epicormic growth up to 3m. - Remove major deadwood.
