T1: Cherry tree - To the left of the pergola in the photo - prune to manage growth. T2: Conifer - Conifer to rear (east boundary) - remove to ground level as it puts their pergola in the shade in the morning. T3: Conifer - To be cut to either (i) height of ridge of neighbour's garage (which will give a flat top an will probably be unsightly or (ii) remove completely as it puts the decking to the immediate rear of the house in shade in the afternoon.

I would want all over hanging branches taken back to boundary for safety since those branches are reach out to our roof. It has been raining and windy hence few branches have broken off. We have a 4 years old son and he plays in the garden alot and they become very unsafe for him.

Drury Lane Health And Wellbeing Centre Drury Lane Wakefield WF1 2TJ
T1, Ash: Dismantle, fell and remove. This specimen is multi-stemmed re-growth from an older stump. The tree is situated on a steep embankment on the boundary between Drury Lane Health Centre and York House Hotel. The trees belong to the hotel. In recent history at least two of the stems have been removed by contractors of the hotel with out the correct permissions given. Some lower stem Ivy removal has takenplace, resulting in the cambium layer of some stems being damaged. With the lower stem clearance only, leaving heavy Ivy cover (Wind sail pressure) in the upper crowns of spindly regrowth and the unauthorised removal of some of the stems, this has exposed the remaining stems to previously deflected weather conditions, resulting one of larger stems failing and falling on to the NHS carpark during the recent high winds. The original stump is rooted into a historic retaining wall which has been structurally compromised for some time and is showing sign of further pressure caused by the expansion of the rootplate. The weak specimen has been further compromised through poor maintenance and unauthorised stem removals.
