N.B. Proposal to crown lift requested by agent during site meeting.

Any reduction will be limited to the obviously over-extended branches, and no overall reduction shall be undertaken to the tree. Crown clean to remove any structurally defective branches, and tidy any naturally failed snags as appropriate. Norway Maple (on eastern boundary of garden) - Crown lift by the removal of secondary branches only to provide no more than 5 metres clearance above the relative ground level beneath the tree. Reduce horizontally growing limb extending towards the houses by no more than 3 metres. Crown clean to remove any structurally defective branches, and tidy any naturally failed snags as appropriate. Norway Maple (in centre of rear boundary) - Fell due to presence of decay column in stem.

Group of coniferous trees on the rear left boundary between neighbours 12 in total to be removed. Low amenity value and over mature over processed trees adding no aesthetics or purpose. N.B. Whilst the application proposed to remove 12 trees, only one of these trees is subject to the TPO, and whilst it is reasonable to presume that this tree predates the adjacent 11, their management has resulted in them becoming a homogenous group.

21/00011/TPO (W1) - Prune back 4 elm trees to 1 metres within boundary adjacent to 152 Goldthorn Hill

Oak - Lateral growth reduction of up to a maximum of 1.5 metres at the greatest point of overhang (over 14 North Green) with the extent of pruning then being reduced so that is blend back into the existing crown line at the points where the tree canopy and boundary line intersects. (Amended works specification agreed with agent on 03/08/21)
