T2, Maple - 3m Crown Raise, 30% reduction T4, Oak - 5m Crown Raise, Face back 3m from Bungalow

Felling of the sycamore, Large sycamore (approx height 18m, trunk diameter 0.58 m, measured 1.5 m above ground. This tree is located 8 metres from our bungalow. It has previously caused blockage of pipework from gutter downpipe to soakaway. Now has blocked main drain pipe from toilets and is infiltrating voids in the concrete foundations adjacent to the broken drains. Our insurers have arranged repair of the drains, The advice from our local builder and tree experts is that roots from this tree poses a continuing and serious danger to the fabric of the bungalow. We have not at this stage commissioned a formal structural survey and would be grateful for advice on what is required.

Large oak tree (T1) on right hand side of property. tree is overhanging the bungalow considerably...

T1 Elm: Remove lowest limb growing towards bungalow and raise crown to circa 3.5 metres. Reduce laterals back from lamp column to give 1 metres clearance. Works are to allow light into property and prevent tree interfering with lamp column.

1 x Large Horse Chestnut located in lawn by property to have selective crown reduction on a large lateral limb with the aim to preserve the remaining limb and keep a balanced crown. 2 x Field Maples along the boundary of the bungalow to be removed to ground level. 2 X Field Maples along the boundary of the bungalow to be crown reduced by approx 20% leaving a balanced crown. 2 x medium Field Maples located at the top of the garden to be crown reduced by approx 30% to previous reduction points. 1 x Sycamore located top left hand corner to be removed due to the poor location of the tree and becoming over come by neighbouring trees. This Sycamore is also leaning onto a neighbouring property. All trees on the left hand boundary of the property to be reduced by approx 20-30% to retain a balanced crown this will prune trees off neighbouring property. 1 x large Sycamore located on the left hand boundary to be removed to ground level due to a large wound at approx 1 m high on the trunk, this is a cause for concern as it is likely to compromise the stability of the tree. 1 x Field Maple located by the garage on the property to be reduced by approx 20% to suitable growth points to maintain the tree.

T1, T2, and T3 - Limes to re-pollard to previous pollard points (approximately 20ft in height) to increase light levels in bungalow.

13/00013/TPO (T1) - Ash - Reduce lower horizontal limb extending toward adjacent bungalow back to appropriate growing point at approx 1/2 - 2/3 overall length from tips, whilst leaving suitable secondary branches to form reduced canopy. crown clean to remove deadwood, and previously 'stubbed' branches and prune to provide clearance of up to 1.5 metres clearance form top of adjacent lighting column. Crown lift by the removal of secondary branches to ensure a 4 metres clearance over the access drive of the adjacent nursing home. Reason(s): Appropriate maintenance given location of tree. - amended specification agreed on site with Agent on 18th Jan 2023.

Mature Maple (No 8) on plan has a branch over the electricity sub station and near the No 22 The Rookery which needs removing along with another branch to balance the tree. (Photos attached) Mature Maple (No 9) on plan has a hollow truck and is dangerous and needs to be felled as it is close to the Electricity sub station and the bungalow in The Rookery. T2 & T3 Oaks growing in car park adjacent to building - Reduce back to give 2m clearance. Reason: trees are encroaching on to building. T4 Macrocarpa growing in car parking area adjacent to bungalow and care home - Remove deadwood and reduce height to 12m spread to 5m radius. Reason: tree is dying back in its upper crown. T5 Sweet Chestnut growing behind care home overhanging kitchen and extraction flues - Reduce back side laterals only to give 2m clearance to building. G1 numerous Dead Elms - Fell to ground level Reason: there are many groups of dead elms which are advanced in decay adjacent to the main roads ,these require urgent removal on safety grounds. T6 Scots Pine located within the woodland area - Fell to ground level Reason: standing dead should be removed as it is within striking distance of open area which is used. T7 Sweet Chestnut on driveway just before care home entrance - Fell to ground level Reason: dead stem within striking distance of access road T8 Holly on access road - Fell to ground level Reason: standing dead
