Reason(s) - Excessive shading and crowding of adjacent trees. N.B. Trees identified on application as "Conservation Area Trees" have been considered under notice of intention reference 22/00795/TN. Works alterations from original application were agreed on site with the applicant on 25/07/22

T1 Holm Oak - Remove this tree, has an acute lean over the pavement and North bound carriageway. It is damaging fence. This tree has been cut badly around an old wound and the bar of the saw has cut through combine layer and into the tree. (Photo attached) T2 Holm Oak - Reduce lower canter leaver limb back to secondary growth points if possible, if not back to branch collar. This will reduce significant tension in this limb. Safeguarding traffic on the busy Falmer Road without to much structural alteration off the tree.
