T1 Ash at driveway entrance: Reduce laterally to edge of driveway and reduce height by 2m to improve access and maintain at current size T2 Multi-stemmed Ash close to garage: Reduce laterally to edge of driveway to improve access and clear front of house and garage G1 Line of Ash and Elder overhanging rear boundary: Reduce laterally to fence line to clear rear of house and garage T3 Leylandii next to summerhouse in back garden: fell to ground level. Tree has outgrown it's location and may shed branches onto summerhouse and footpath at rear T4 & T5 Norway Maple: fell to ground level to allow space for additional garden planting

T1, Ash : lift branches above shed and garage to give 2m clearance; reduce lowest limb and branch above to give 2m clearance above garage; reduce lowest two branches above patio to give clearance; trim back marked growth on picture 3 to give clearance from roof of house; remove base epicormic (no cuts to exceed 100mm diameter) T2, Oak : remove epicormic growth from stem; crown lift lower limbs to a height of 5m from garden of 29 Brand Road; crown lift to 8m from 21 Gronan Close to balance the canopy (21 is lower, so therefore 8m to balance the lower canopy)

T1 - Sycamore - Crown lift and thin as tree branches are encroaching into neighbours garden causing excessive shading and onto roofspace of garage and house with potential to cause a nuisance and damage T2 - Sycamore - Fell due to decay within the main stem from ground level to in excess of 2m in height - sound testing indicates the stem is hollow. Replant with Sycamore sapling in same location T3 - Sycamore - Crown thin due to excessive shading to neighbouring house and garden - removal of epicormic growth T4 - Sycamore - Crown thin due to excessive shading to neighbouring house and garden - removal of epicormic growth and peg left from shed branch T5 - Sycamore - remove due to poor form of split stem, presence of tension wood and lean over busy highway and pavement (Burnley Road). Replant with Sycamore sapling in same location. T6 - Sycamore - remove due to decay within main scaffold branches in the canopy. Replant with Sycamore sapling in same location.

Schedule AD1: T1 - Oak at top right corner of garden to be removed as close to ground as possible. T2 - Remove to ground the two hollies growing as sucker shoots under the mature pine in top right corner of garden. T3 - Third oak down from top on the right, remove low deadwood. T4 - Fourth oak down from top, remove low deadwood. T5 - Fifth oak down the row, remove low deadwood. T6, T7, T8 - Hollies within the oaks on the right side of house remove to ground. T9 - Remove epicormics growth from the oak adjacent to rear right corner of house. T10 - Remove epicormics growth from the oak adjacent to front right corner of house. T11 - 15" dbh oak on right side of drive leanning over parking area, drop crotch for weight reduction and balance of tree. T12 - Triple trunk oak with co dominant trunks from base. Tidy fractures and carry out weight reduction in upper canopy through crotch reduction. T13 - Sycamore nearest gate to be crown raised with removal of the two lowest drive side laterals. T14 - Pine near the gate side, remove deadwood. T15 - Large holly on right side of entrance leaning towards road. 10"dbh, Reduce to around 6 ft. T16 - Birch that is near garage that is dead, remove to ground and lower the adjacent stump. Yew behind shed, crown lift at 4 foot from trunk. T17 - Semi mature red oak on the left side of garden, evidence of fungal attack. Tree is within striking range of the house approx 32" dbh. Evidence of extensive rot at base. Reduce to a point where it could no longer hit the house if it fails at the base. T18 - Rear left side birch near border, remove the lateral interfering with cherry.

Trees 1 to 7 on location plan: Fell Reason; Bird mess, wish to erect green house and garden shed, debris on garage and car roof, damage to rear fence.

(T4) - Sycamore - cut back to suitable growth points canopy which extends over the roof such that the building line is cleared by approx. 2m, as in the photographs submitted with the application. (T13) - Turkey Oak - cut back to suitable pruning points branches extending over the house to provide approx. 2-3m clearance of the building line of house and raise canopy over garage / wooden shed structure to provide approx. 3m clearance of the roofs as shown in the photographs submitted with the application. After discussions with a professional arborist we wish to undertake the following work: 1) approximately 50% reduction in height & 20% side reduction of an overgrown bay tree which has grown into an adjacent tree & is encroaching over entrance gate to property 2) reduction in height of eucalyptus to the previous pollarded height 3) removal of tall conifer right against side wall of house that arborist advises should be removed 4) removal of plum tree that is very close to and increasingly overhanging garage block and shed. Its root system is affecting the retaining wall & arborist advises tree should be removed.
