Refurbishment and extension of the building including the: i) Recladding of fifth floor and addition of plant enclosure at roof level(Class E); ii) creation of accessible terraces at level five; iii) installation of projecting balconies to the northern elevation at levels three to four; iv) creation of single storey infill extension on the western elevation; v) reconfiguration of the office entrance; vi) reconfiguration of the loading bay; vii) new hard and soft landscaping and other ancillary works.

(total additional floorspace 53sq.m GEA).

Partial infill extensions at 8th floor level and extension of the three existing turrets; refurbishment of the existing roof terraces; installation of sedum roofs; and associated works.

Refurbishment of the existing building for continued office use including the reconstruction of the rear ground extension; new rear terrace; rationalisation of plant equipment; replacement of windows; internal alterations; upgrades to services, fabric repairs and altered decorations; and conversion of the third and fourth floors to ancillary accommodation for The Mercers' Company (as per 15/01308/FULL and 15/01309/LBC).

(i) Erection and extension of canopy structure; (ii) Infill of roof top area to provide for WCs, bar and back of house service area; and (iii) Painting of whole roof top canopy structure and solid infill wall.

Retention of retail unit at ground floor; change of use of basement and part ground and upper floors to apart-hotel (Class C1) with 33no rooms; extension at rear of ground floor; extension to rear outrigger to fifth floor level; creation of a mansard style roof extension at fifth floor; creation of partially open plant enclosure to front at fifth floor; works of repair to front elevation glazed screen to 152, and other associated works.

Application under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) to vary condition 8 (servicing hours) of planning permission 16/01084/FULL (dated 16/12/2016) to extend servicing hours to Sundays and Bank Holidays.
