Extension, alterations and conversion of the existing Ashdowns guest house into assisted living accommodation with 11 bedrooms consisting of ground floor rear extension, new front porch and rooflights to the ground and second floors

The repair and conversion of the existing Listed Gatehouse to provide residential accommodation; internal alterations to the reconstructed Rose Inn Building to provide office / retail accommodation (Class E (g) (i) and Class E (a, b and c); Construction of an infill building between the north gable end of the Gatehouse and the west gable end of the Rose Inn Building; Construction of a new 'L' shape 2 and 3 storey wing from the south gable end of the Gatehouse to accommodate residential units for the adjacent University.
