The pitch of the extension beyond the rear line of the bungalow follows the pitch existing roof to lessen the impact as the land falls away from the dwelling. A windowed bay and the garage at each end of the bungalow projects 1.3m out from the main building line. A canopy reaches from one projection to the other with a framed porch under the bayed end. It is proposed to demolish existing front porch and rebuild. Block up existing bathroom window and insert a rooflight in roof pitch over bathroom.
