Retrospective application for partial change of use of an agricultural building to data storage including a messroom/office; the construction of an extension; the installation of solar electric roof panels; the replacement of profiled metal and brick walls with brick; and other external alterations together with an application for the proposed change of use of the rest of the building, including the extension, to data storage involving the installation of new fenestration; the installation of solar panels on another part of the roof; the construction and installation of 8 ground-mounted solar electric panels; and other external alterations.

The proposals involve the refurbishment of the existing dwelling including removal of the existing chimneys and the introduction of integrated solar on the roof of the existing dwelling and proposed extension. The fenestration, roof trims and guttering would be replaced with aluminium products in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016). The proposed extension would join onto the South elevation of the dwelling and integrate with the existing extension. The proposed extension would share the same ridge height as the existing extension, remaining subservient to the original dwelling..

To create a loft conversion by altering roof trusses to Attic trusses , increasing pitch to 45 Degrees. Two bay windows at the front and two at the rear. Three skylights.

Remove the porch and large oil tank which dominates the site (and is unsafely close to window) and extend the lean-to slightly. - Re-tile with existing blue slate tiles, insulate and incorporate 2 x conservation skylights - The new space would be a study and utility room - The small wooden porch needs to be removed to allow extension of the brick lean-to on one side. - The roof needs re-tiling to replace old skylight with conservation skylights and incorporate the proposed small extension. NB: existing tiles will be re-used.
