Proposed installation of a Wheel Lathe Facility (WLF); depot building to house the wheel lathe facilities and a maintenance pit; Construction of one 400 metre line of new rail track to facilitate access of 250 metre trains; Minor modifications to overhead line equipment and other ground-based rail systems; New and improved fencing and vehicular gates to be installed and existing access off Oxford Road is to be utilized.

Proposed creation of secure storage compound to North East side of telephone exchange to hold 2 no. containers, to be used by the civil team to house materials and equipment to support local telecoms infrastructure network, and erection of 1.8 metre high fencing to the perimeter of the site.
