Retrospective application for partial change of use of an agricultural building to data storage including a messroom/office; the construction of an extension; the installation of solar electric roof panels; the replacement of profiled metal and brick walls with brick; and other external alterations together with an application for the proposed change of use of the rest of the building, including the extension, to data storage involving the installation of new fenestration; the installation of solar panels on another part of the roof; the construction and installation of 8 ground-mounted solar electric panels; and other external alterations.

The conversion of an existing agricultural building to office space (Use Class E) and raising of building roof to allow for 350mm of thermal insulation, parking and other associated works.

Erection of 3 no. office units with a Class E (g)(i) use class. that development achieves a high-quality design, which is responsive and sympathetic to its surroundings. The existing units on site adopt a traditional agricultural barn vernacular utilising red brick and weatherboarded elevations with pantile roof. By way of location and form, the proposed development would not detrimentally affect the wider landscape.

External works and alterations (retrospective) including - the construction of a new entrance porch, new chimney, replacement cladding and external materials to the walls and roof and new windows and doors to allow the change of use of the building for uses incidental to the principal use of the dwelling known as Birchwood Farm as a home office, overnight guest accommodation, and the provision of new welfare facilities including toilet and shower in addition to agricultural use
